Get a discount by choosing two half day tours among the itineraries and combine them as you like. Itineraries are flexible so you can mix and match them as you like.

A full day tour of Rome covers all the major sites and attractions of the city and tells its remarkable History. It lasts generally 6 hours and one hour stop for lunch.

A HALF DAY TOUR - Is the favorite tour and Is generally a tree-hour-tour, choose among the list bilow, then send me an enquiry with the date, the time, and what you wish to see, I will answer as soon as possible.

Especially thought for those people who are coming in Rome for the first time.

This wonderful Rome half day tour will take you through all the major sites of old and new Rome.
You will pick its picturesque and colorful atmosphere.

2. VATICAN & SISTINE CHAPEL

The Vatican is the smallest state in the world, and it is a town inside the town of Rome. It contains one of the world largest and oldest museums , the SISTINE CHAPEL painted by Michelangelo, the Rooms of popes painted in the Renaissance period. Here is also the world largest church: Saint Peter’s Basilica.

Every Friday from May 3rd to July 26th and from September 6th to October 25th, the Museums will be open to visitors from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm (last entrance at 9:30 pm).

**Just opposite to the entrance of the Vatican Museums and NOT in Saint Peter's Square! Which is where the tour ends.

** Vatican Dress Code: Knees and shoulders must be covered this is valid for both men and women!! The Gard will stop you don’t respect this rule, So ladies bring a foulard to cover your shoulders. And don’t wear shorts.

** Pictures are allowed in the museum but not inside the Sistine Chapel.

** Backpacks  and glass bottles are NOT ALLOWED.

 

3. ANCIENT ROME & COLOSSEUM

Walking tour through the ancient ruins of the Roman Forum. We will walk through history back to 2700 years ago. We will talk with Julius Caesar and Octavian Augustus, admiring the fragments of Rome’s glorious past. Then you will see the Colosseum, where gladiators once fought for their lives in front of thousands of cheering Romans.

4. THE MOST FAMOUS PIAZZA & FOUNTAINS OF BAROQUE ROME
This tour is a pleasant walk trough the most beautiful squares of Rome.  BUT I will shaw you details and tell you funny stories of popers, artists and peoples who lived here. You will toss a coin in Trevi Fountain, count the steps of Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps), admire the dome of the Pantheon, and also Montecitorio (Parliament House), Palazzo Madama (Senate House), Piazza Navona, and the churches of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva and Sant’Ignazio. This tour can also be done by bike.

5. JEWISH QUARTER & TRASTEVERE
The Jewish ghetto history doesn't start with the arrival of the nazi troops in 1944 but far before, intact it was created by the pope in 16th century. Today the Jewish area, where one of the oldest European Jewish communities is settled is a fascinating place, full of restaurants and very lively. Here the ancient Portico d’Ottavia, witnesses the great past of the area, and the imposing Synagogue, set up in 1904 hosts a Jewish life's museum.….

In the second part of the visit we will cross the river Tevere through the charming boat-shaped island to continue our walking tour in Trastevere, considered a separate city by its residents who call themselves the “real Romans”! Trastevere boasts also many pizzerias and typical restaurants called Trattoria.

I design my food tour for each customer, because I really wish everybody can enjoy it. so if you are Celiac or you have any food allergy but you wish to do such a great experience we are going to make it together! 

The tour consist in a nice walk into the most caracteristic city centre streets and piazzas, talking about history, tradition and Italian culture, we will stop in various places: the 1st stop is for apetizers, the 2nd for cheese and wine, the 3rd for specialities like home made pasta and pizza, finally the best gelato of the town :-)



8. ANCIENT ROME OFF THE TRACKS

This is a walking tour that completes a previous visit and goes deep in knowledge: I will show you the underground Rome by visiting San Clemente, a three level church with the remains of a 2nd-century Villa, and a pagan templedadicated to the god Mitra; the Ludus Magnus, where the gladiators used to live and train before fighting in the Colosseum, we will then discover the roman daily life by visiting the circus Maximus and touring the Caracalla's thermal bathes.

This tour is especially thought for those who were passioned by Dan Brown’s best seller “Angels and Demons”. Written before the Da Vinci Code and taking place in Rome, it become even more famous after the movie directed by Ron Howard and with Tom Hancks. I will show you the spots named in the novel and the differences with the movie. This tour will start from Saint Peter’s Square, continuing to Castel Sant’Angelo, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, then the churches of Santa Maria del Popolo and Santa Maria della Vittoria and finally Piazza Barberini.

12. APPIAN WAY & CATACOMBS

Via Appia Antica (the Appian Way) Is the most celebrated way 500KM long it was built in 312 B.C. We are going to visit the most romantic portion of this way that will allow you to understand many aspects of the history and the daily life of the ancient romans, and above all how uncomfortable was a trip at that time! This tour includes many interesting roman ruins, such as Cecilia Metella's tomb, part of a Middle Age castle, emperor Maxentius' circus, The Catacombs - the Christian underground cemetery dating from the 2nd century, where persecuted Christians once gathered to worship in secret – and Saint Sebastian's Church.

- how many hours you wish to tour

- how many tours you book (Get a discount if you book more than one tour)

- additional costs such as Mini Van, Tickets, Bikes, etc.

- how many people you are. In high season I organize semi private tours, you will pay less if you accept to tour with other people.

- All my tours are children-friendly, and they don't pay!!
